committment

For most chapters, participating families are asked to purchase enough items to make 20 lunch bags in their own homes. A parent will coordinate the pickup or drop off of the lunches the week of delivery. Delivery dates vary by chapter. Reminders will be sent out the week before your assigned delivery date. Monthly participation is not required. Please contact us to sign up.

• Sandwich packed in a zip-lock type sandwich bag
  • Bread
  • Meat and cheese sandwiches are great. So is PB&J or something equivalent. (Nothing soggy please!) 
• Savory snack like chips or pretzels
• Sweet snack like a granola bar or cookie and/or fruit snacks
• Piece of fruit
• Bottled water
• Napkin

* Please label the kind of sandwich provided on the outside of the lunch bag (use The Lunchmaker label if available) 

* Sandwich restrictions may vary by chapter and receiving organization 

• Disinfect countertops. 
• Wash your hands before putting on a clean pair of disposable gloves to handle food
• Wearing a mask while preparing sandwiches is strongly encouraged
