In August of 2021, The Lunchmakers were awarded the Nicholas J. Peters Ozanam Spirit Award. The award, which recognizes service to the poor and needy by youth, pays tribute to Frederic Ozanam, a French university student who in 1833 founded of the St. Vincent de Paul Society to confront the dire poverty he saw on the streets of Paris.
Chapter lead Rylan and The Hilldale Upper School Chapter accepted this award on behalf of The Lunchmakers.
In June 2023, Crosby, Kaely and Aaron were the recipients of this award for The Lunchmakers.
